In the field of automated motion control, encoders have never been a topic that is particularly appealing. Hidden behind the motor, they silently provide data on position and speed, but rarely appear on the cover of product brochures. FMS512 is a product that truly combines the high performance of absolute encoders with the moderate price of incremental encoders. It adopts a magnetic scale with a 512mm cycle encoding length, and the cycle encoding is exactly the same, greatly simplifying the installation and debugging process in long-stroke applications. In scenarios of multi-motors operating at high speed in parallel, the encoder still maintains a very small detection blind zone, with a maximum traversing speed of up to 5m/s, which is sufficient to cover most application requirements ranging from linear motor modules to multi-motor variable torque motors, industrial robots, to semiconductor equipment.

In terms of performance, the power-on startup time of FMS512 is compressed to 350 milliseconds. This means that after the equipment is powered on, the control system can obtain the current accurate position information in less than half a second, without zero return or phase search, and the equipment can be immediately put into operation. At the same time, the encoder uses a non-contact magnetic measurement principle, without mechanical wear, combined with ultra-flexible and high-sensitivity cables, it can work stably for a long time even in harsh environments such as drag chains, vibration, dust, and oil stains. The built-in safety algorithm and excellent electromagnetic compatibility design further ensure the reliability and anti-interference ability of signal transmission.

In terms of communication compatibility, FMS512 also demonstrates remarkable openness. It supports various mainstream protocols such as BISS-C, SSI, Tachibana, Panasonic, and RS-485, and can seamlessly connect with the vast majority of motion control cards, PLCs, and servo drives available on the market. This "plug-and-play" compatibility capability significantly reduces the selection burden and debugging costs for system integrators.
